I think Lindsey has it. If you look for Rock Mount on Google Map it is right in the Hoyland area. Nice find, good idea!

Another alternative might be to go to the Alan Godfrey site for old maps. There seems to be lots for the Barnsley area and for £2-50 they are really good value. If you weren't certain which one to buy, give them a ring as I have found them really helpful. I think this address may be in Barnsley/Penistone area.

on 1911 before number 1 the address is 7 Rock Mount

Rock Mount is still on google but looks like nearby new housing ?

Hi there,
Tried Google earth and also images, so know the street no longer exists. Just wondered if anyone knows where Elizabeth Street Hoyland nr Barnsley, actually was.
