Just had a look - the school where I work(ed) and close to were I grew up is featured! Its amazing so see old primary school friends preserved in time , and to spot the changes of use in the building - lol Now to send the link to v old school friends. :))

Not sure whether it is of interest but Pathe News have a website of newsreels going back many a year, for free, on britishpathe.com
Just enter your town and see the footage. Possibly very interesting for football enthusiasts but there are some newsreels of local events which may be interesting to people of the town.-jl
