can't find this man on the 1911

Can anybody with 5 mins to spare have a look on the 1911 Census for me, as I can't see Nehemiah Christopher Bennett born 20th Dec 1906 Southwark. London

He died 1973, so should be there but with a name like that, the enumerator probably guessed it !

Do you know his parents' names or siblings?

It might be easier to find them, then look for the family members.

I can't see him either. There are a few Christophers, but we need a bit more info as Gwyn says.

I can't see him,did he marry Claretta E Stump in 1927.

Yes, I think he did but I was working backwards to get his parents and was hoping that the 1911 would tell me.
Claretta was possibly from France

Jan.jan, in 1911 the images are of the page that the head of household filled in. His father possibly just called him Christopher, as shown by Lindsey*

Of course, on the other hand, perhaps they were missed from the census. I cant find some of my lot on some of the censuses and I know they should be there.

I think your best bet to find the parents' names would be to get the b cert.
