GR have removed the search box which used to be on the top of the page so you now have to use Search Trees.

it was on top of page noy tree search not surnames

Do you mean the surname summary, which lists names in your tree?

If so, click on the same Search Trees tab, then go to Surname summary.
If you wish, you can choose to search only for names added in last 7, days, 14 days etc.

You don't have to give birth. The only thing you have to give is surname.

i cannot remember where on genes is the search for name ie type name in & any matches appear could someone please explain where that is
