find box on the genes tree

Someone mentioned a similar problem a couple of weeks ago Chances are it isn't a GR problem l, but possibly your browser settings, otherwise everyone would have the same difficulty.

First of all , check that your screen resolution is set to 1064 x 768. Then adjust the size of the display by holding down the Ctrl key and at the same time, moving your mouse scroll wheel up or down until the tree page displays correctly. The menu bar should fit across the page within your screen display in a single line with the View button on the left and the purple Search button on the right.

Another tip is to make sure you clear your browser cache on a regular basis. Failure to do so can sometimes cause problem with the tree display too.

I am having difficulty with the find box on my tree it seems to be super sensitive. When I delete a name in order to put in a new name, it starts jumping around and will not allow me type in the new name. which I am searching for. Any ideas ? Many thanks
