Hope someone can advise me, which is the best/safest site to obtain Elecoral roll records and any cost involved

Unfortunately no online sites offering recent electoral roll information are particularly cheap to use. Probably the most frequently used is www.192.com Another site you might checkout being www.peopletracer.co.uk. You can usually search such sites free but need to pay to get actual address ect. You will need to visit the sites to get an indication of the prices that they charge.

Generally speaking older electoral registers are not available online but may be viewed at the main public library or archive office in the district the ER covered.

Just Google 2010 electoral roll

For example, here are two sites:-

3 days access £5.50, 30 days £10.50, i year £110

or
http://www.192.com/people/electoral-roll/?gkw=2009+electoral+roll

Credits cost £11.69 for 6, £41.07 for 100 or £99.82 for 300.

Bear in mind the data is collected the previous year
