I have a Jessie Greenall married in 1944 to William Sadler
I also found a death of Jessie Sadler 1978
It says DOB 9th May 1902

So

I have been looking for this birth.
The only close birth is Jessie Greenhalgh
1902 Q2

As you asked if they sound the same.....
.In the North West of England, Greenhalgh is pronounced Green Alges or Green Alches. Greenall is just pronounced as it looks. Hope this helps a bit.

Jessie was an unmarried Mother who was in service in Manchester/Salford at the time of birth.
Trying to find where she was born....
