I am researching the above family as well on behalf of my husband. His Great Great Grandfather was Thomas Holland Deacon who married a Susannah Bagley (Susan). Thomas and Susan's eldest dau Sarah Holland Deacon married a Daniel Hutchinson, they had 12 children. Their dau Rose was my husband's grandmother.

If you think we may have information to share please get in touch,

Sian

From the tree that Linda B found it states that this is his first marriage;

Surname First name(s) Spouse District Vol Page
-----------------------------------------
Marriages Sep 1913
-------------------------------
Bagley Rose L Wilson Pontypridd 11a 1249
Wilson Thomas D Bagley Pontypridd 11a 1249

And his father died at this address;

92 William Street, Trethomas, Bedwas, Wales

So I would say that Linda B maybe on the right tracks here.

Linda B and Lynn

I dont subscribe to Ancestry but your find is very interesting.
Treethomas was a very small Village and Holland is an unusual name.

Maybe they changed names from Deakin to Wilson

I will have a look at Deakin on Genes.

Thank you for you replies

Like you Carol I could not find any reference to Thomas Holland Wilson however there is a tree on Ancestry for a Thomas Holland Deakin and in brackets Wilson.

I usually don't take any notice of Ancestry trees (from personal experience...don't ask!) however this tree seems extremely detailed so may be worth taking a look...if your have a sub that is...let me know if not. William Street, Trethomas. Bedwas is mentioned.

I have the Marriage cert. of Thomas Holland Wilson On 3 aug. 1927 at the register office Newport Monmouthshire he married a widow Margaret Ann Courtney nee Wilcox, aged 30 years

Thomas was 45 years old a widower, his occupation was Colliery repairer below ground His address was 90 Upper William St Treethomas Bedwas Wales His father was also Thomas Holland Wilson Foreman Excavator

I also have the birth cert of their son Robert Malcolm Wilson b 14 Nov 1929 at the same address
