I have been weeks looking for a marriage for Albert Rigby b 1902 in St Helens Lancashire, was told by member of family ladies name was Elsie, i havent found anything, if someone has a wee bit of spare time to help !

He was born in st helens in 1902 ...and always lived there as far as i was told, no idea if he had kids, as i was adopted and only found out my bio family round 5 yrs ago....thanks Joanie

A copy of that should give you his fathers details which should enable you to positively identify his father. That information would also be useful as a check reference should you decide to purchase any likely marriage certificates.

If you have not already got a copy of his death certificate getting hold of it might provide a clue via who registered his death.

I will go death cert way and contact haydock park to see if anyone remembers him on race course, as i know that is his family as his sister was matilda and bro John...thank you for ur kind help .
