Yes its so good when you can see the parish record.......saves a fortune on Certificates.

Only got a quick look last night ,but will study in detail later....

I`d imagine it may be very useful for those who had Irish Ancestors who settled in Liverpool, as a lot of them seem to have done.....

There's alot to browse there.

I found the marriage of a Sussex-born chap on my tree. We do have a copy of his marriage certificate, but it will be good to take a copy of the original parish record, in order to compare signatures and hopefully confirm that he was the same man who had already married twice in Sussex.

Ancestry today have added many records for the Liverpool area......

Births ,Marriages and burials for all including Catholic and Confirmations...

Managed to find great grandfathers sisters marriage who i`d never been able to trace past her basptism......
