If you want him on your tree, you could add him as another child, parents Rafferty and Holliday, and/or as another child of his biological parents, but changing the surname to Rafferty. That ought to trigger the automatic tree matches.

Best to put a note in the profile for both Rafferty and Holliday.

If you want to search GR for him use both names in Search Trees at top of the page.

I think you will have to add it in your notes as a name change

I think it could have been an adoption but not certain. My half brother had his surname changed when his mother remarried. Birth name is Holliday and it was changed to Rafferty.

How do I put a change of name into a search please? The birth certificate will be in one name and other records in another.
