How can I get another e-mail address?

I have a hotmail address but recently its not been working so well and I tried to get help from them. The problem is they want to e-mail me at another address and I don't have another e-mail address.

How and wher can I get another e-mail address.

You can create another free email address with Google (gmail) or AOL.

You should have an email address with your Internet provider For Instance my ISP is Virgin Media and i have a blueyonder email address , as well as the Hotmail address that i signed up to separately

I have about 20 email addresses there. ;)

It's wise to have a couple of anonymous / throw-away ones.

That way you can sign up for things on line without worrying about getting spammed in your "good" account, and you can communicate anonymously in situations where that seems wise at least at first.

If you use your Information Providers email address, this tends to tie you into staying with that IP. Should you wish to change your IP, you then have the bother of telling lots of people your new email address.

Using a free email address provider like Hotmail or Gmail or similar means you can change your IP at will without changing email adresses.

You can have as many Hotmail email addresses as you want.
