No he wasnt adopted both his parents passed when he was 22 he hadnt asked anything about famil because his mother was from abroad and now wants to look into things.

If your friend was adopted then he can go through Norcap who may access his adoption papers as an intermediary

Sorry to say but you are right in thinking it cannot be viewed.....Closed until 2061.

Good Afternoon All

I have a question about the national archives i have something i want to look at but it says the below

Access
Closure status Closed Or Retained Document, Open Description
Further information about access conditions is available
Access conditions Closed For 100 years
Record opening date 01 Jan 2061


does this mean i can never look at this even if i go down there? :-(
