Hi everyone

Help!!! I am still pretty new to all this but your help to anyone who asks is pretty amazing!! Tonight I think I have found my grandfathers roots back in Ireland, which is exciting. I think I know my G/G/grandfather's family from the 1881 census because they moved to Liverpool but how do I start to check out Ireland? I don't even know if it's North or South. Any help would be useful. Either way thanks!

Happy hunting. Bald eagle

It was all one country before the partition in 1922, I think was the year.

Have a look in some tips I shall bring forward for you.
