I read somewhere that one of the genealogy sites has prisoners of war in the first world war listed - but I can't for the life of me remember which one! Can anybody help?

Sandy :-)

I know WW2 POW records are on FMP & Ancestry, but i don't know about WW1, in fact i have never come across these records, also if any are available they are very sketchy.

Have a look at this link does give a very good explanation about WW1 POW records, and what might be found.
