Member Since: December 2003 Posts: 29 Send Message	Could anyone please help? I was brought up in Bulawayo , we went out to my uncle John Charles Treharne known as jack born 1899 Aston Birmingham UK. His wife Beryl Maud died in the mid 50s. I was on some site ( cant remember which and have lost the note I made, found a ref to her D.R. 801/54 13616 Misc 1968, well she had been dead for a long time, I am assuming it is the reading of the joint will after my Uncles death. I cannot find his death , burial or their will. i know there was one as my other Uncle brought it to show my Father and inform him of Uncle Jacks deatgh. Can anyone please help as i have been looking for his death for years so I can send for his Army records he was in both wars, rode up the ranks Di

	You appear to have the surname as Treherne in your tree. On another site you say he died between 1965-1968. Have you looked on the overseas deaths on Findmypast? Rose

	There is no sign of him on the WW1 records on ancestry .... and they have allegedly transcribed or copied ALL of the surviving WW1 records. There is this Medal Roll, which MAY be him British Army WWI Medal Rolls Index Cards, 1914-1920 Name: John C Treherne Regiment or Corps: Army Service Corps Regimental Number: M2/116240 He was awarded the Victory Medal, the British Medal, and the 1915 Star Unfortunately, there do not seem to be any service records for him sylvia
