Hi everyone,

Does anybody have any records for the above mentioned chap? He was born in 1929 and in 1950 married Therese Cresp who he divorced in 1973 and then married Joyce hunt b.1924 in 1973.
Their marriage certificate shows joyce surname as Hunt but her fathers surname as Barnard.
I know for a fact that hunt was her previous married surname and that they had a daughter (whom I'm trying to find as she is my half sister)
Any help would be gladly accepted

Why not put the name of your sister who you are looking for , and just her parents names onto Search board ?

So you are looking for a Watts / Barnard child born after ???? in ???? area

Joyce was 51 at marriage so was this child born earlier ??

Or possibly a Watts / Hunt child born after 1973 ( year of Marriage ) in possibly Croyden area.

How do I go about searching for this

Shows on the Marriage cert that Joyce was 49,
I believe the child was born before they married,
Residence at Marriage Sanderstead, Croyden

So the child would most probaly have been registered in Joyces current surname of the time as Hunt mmn Barnard

There's no Croydon births pre 1973 for Hunt/Barnard

Not having any luck, I think they would both have had to wait some time for their divorces so might have been together for a while before marrying. Do you know when he left his first wife ?

The address on the marriage cert may be a clue to the Electoral rolls,of previous years, but children are not named on them.

He left his first wife around 1963.
His Croyden address was 22 farmfields sanderstead
But I know he moved out to Ely Cambridgeshire as this was the last time I saw him.
Also first / last time I saw my sister who was around 13yrs at the time.

So can you give a time frame then for when you saw her as may make it easier to look for her.

Between 1976 and 1980.

Still struggling for a birth!! NO Hunt / Barnard births for Croydon but wonder whether she didnt want her child to have the surname Hunt so registered her as Barnard. Theres about 3 for that name born from 1955 but Surrey South Eastern reg district . This would make her older than 13 tho for the time period you quote.Best i can do tho !! will PM info
