Can't find 1871 census entry for James Bowcock

My great-great-great Grandad.

Seems he died in Chorlton in 1872 , but this site's search function is playing up on me and for some reason won't load page 2 of the entries.

Please can someone help me find him, he should be around Manchester/Chorlton/Prestwich with wife Ann and lots of kids, perhaps London road as the address?

GR is the worst possible place to search records.............

When your upgraded sub runs out.......change it for BASIC, and use one of the better sites.

Thank you, he was born in 1811 in Salford we believe, according to info given by your sterling colleagues in here.

( They helped me find his marriages etc).

Which site would you recommend.....I really don't rate the search facilities in GR, I only come here for the brilliant people support given.

( that's not flattery, it's true).
