I am trying to find info about Jim Ward.
Jim signed on at Silverwood colliery in 1922 aged 16 and is listed as living at 33 Abell Street, Thrybergh.
I think this is my father's brother.
My brother believes Jim lost either one, or both legs and possibly lived in Dinnington or Thurcroft, near Rotherham, Yorkshire.
I found him on the 1911 census at 127 Midland Road, Kimberworth, Rotherham aged 4 but after that I can't find anything.
I have searched Genes Reunited and drawn a blank there as well.
I have purchased some birth certificates but not yet got the correct one.
Jim's parents were Edward Ward b1871, New Zealand, Bridgegate, Rotherham and Jane Emily Scopes b1872 Needham Market, Suffolk.
Someone must have Jim on their tree?

Thanks Jonesey, I have tried searching on Genes Reunited "Search Trees" but found nothing.
I have 5 "possible" marriages so I will now check "Search Trees" for his wife and send messages out in the hope I can find him on someones tree.
