Can you advise on where I might find some information on Canadian DCM recipients please? I have come by a 'Comrades of the Great War ' badge with , I assume, the regt number on back which seems to match up wit,

Thank you very much Teresa, that's brilliant, as it has his nok and dob..I picked up the badge at an auction so maybe I can find a descendant to pass it on to.

I would think your best bet was to check the London Gazette.
From his attestation paper that Teresa posted, he only attested 13/8/1915, so there wouldn't be anything before 1916, and could still be gazetted as late as 1920.
