Now we just have to try to think of the various threads thee and me have posted in, in the past, that this would have had the answers to!

In my old Cooper thread, somebody had a batch of Coopers in Montreal that I couldn't find for him for love nor money. I'll bookmark this and have a look later. You never know!

Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec have the Annuaires Lovell de Montréal et sa banlieue (1842-1999) [= ... and its suburbs] online at:
http://bibnum2.banq.qc.ca/bna/lovell/

Since the 1921 census won't be available for another 3 y (53y for 1971), this is an excellent census substitute, although mostly restricted to heads of households plus (possibly) other adults in h/h.


EDIT I should have mentioned a woman might be indexed under, say, D as Doris, or under M as Miss Doris.
