If you are a (close-ish) relative, you may be able to request Mary's ATS records.

After 1911 you are pretty much restricted to electoral registers, searchable by addresses found on birth, marriage and death certs.
There are some Birmingham electoral registers online at Midlands Historical data site -

I had never heard of Hednesford before - it seems to be in Staffordshire!

Can anyone please help me piece this branch together or please advise me on the right track. I have as follows
Mary Katherine Howell born 1921 kings norton B,Ham.she then lived in Hednesfield B,ham . she married Harry croucher who was in the Navy they married Bromsgrove 1941 they lived Liverpool and Droitwich (due to his service)
Marys Mother name was Emma evans when Mary was born! she was Evans on marys birth record Emma apparently married Marys dad William Howell in 1944 Storey goes they could not do so earlier as it sound like he was already married.Could this be right?
Also how do I trace Marys movements as she is born after the 1911 cencus Mary was in the A.T.S when in droitwich I know theA.T.S started in 1938 and she had a child in liverpool in 1944. Can any one sugest any action to fill in the pieces. :-S
