I went looking for this thread because of a Beesley post on the Living Relatives board, wondering whether there might be a connection. (Seems not.)

I note that Louise must have had a very fretful 2-yr-old, not to have returned for two days to see the further info here ...

Births Dec 1885 (>99%)

Waller Lenny Sydney Camberwell 1d 923

Deaths Dec 1904 (>99%)

WALLER Lenny Sidney 18 Dartford 2a 350

Thought I would look and see where brother Lenny was on 1911, if he gave a clue!, but came across his death, seems it was a very sad time...But still no sign of anything on Samuel...

Louise, the death in 1903, if that's the one you mean, is definitely Sr. -- aged 56 in 1903.

There are no Waller births with mother Cload after 1911 -- I was hoping to be able to place them geographically around 1911.

Do you know for sure that they remained in the UK?

I can't find deaths that match them (including in WWI for Samuel), or births of children, etc.

Emigrated? No passenger records with those given names, and matching up with (or without) initials would be pretty impossible ...

Name: Herbert H Waller
Birth Date: abt 1904
Date of Registration: Jul-Aug-Sep 1968
Age at Death: 64
Registration district: Birmingham
Inferred County: Warwickshire
Volume: 9c
Page: 189

Name: Herbert H Waller
Spouse: Elsie C Surman
Date of Registration: Oct-Nov-Dec 1928
Registration district: Birmingham South
Inferred County: Warwickshire
Volume Number: 6d
Page Number: 128

?

... but then you knew that since you have Elsie Surman in your tree, so you knew that son Herbert at least settled in that area ...

Charles Beesley and Mabel Waller are both "married" on the 1911. There is a one-year-old child in the household. Theirs?

Births Jun 1910
BEESLEY William Beresford Stoke T 6b 222

Might be worth checking the birth certificate.

Name: Mabel Beesley
Birth Date: abt 1880
Date of Registration: Jul-Aug-Sep 1942
Age at Death: 62
Registration district: Birmingham
Inferred County: Warwickshire

So it seems Samuel was permanently out of the family picture by 1911.

In fact, I would venture to guess that Charles George Gordon Waller was actually a Beesley.

Name: Charles George G W Beesley -- W = Waller

Sorry - no. I have worked through 77 pages of options and gave up in the end and rechecked his marriage cert. He married as Harry Samuel Waller and had the occupation as an undertaker - the same as his father's occupation.

I have to give up now and go to work, but didn't find any joy using his occupation

Good Luck Kay

Sadly none of the above are the right Samuel. The Samuel in Hackney is actually mistranscribed and is a daughter called Susannah!!

Hi, I once had a similar problem, could not find someone on 1871 census on GR but found him on Ancestry. On GR his first name had been mistranscribed , which threw me at first, but all the family members were there.
Give another site a try or try to search on one of this family.

It might work.
good luck. M
