We are not too far away from you here in North Wales Suzanne, the weather had been a bit weird over the weekend here, lovely and sunny Sat afternoon, a few miles away travelling towrds Ellsmere Port you have never seen rain like it, the windscreen wipers barely coped and the roads were flooded.........returning home an hour later we were still dry here!

Good old Scotland.........you can always be sure of some extreme weather!

My fav place in the UK, have visited several times and took the boat across to some of the isles...........My dad is away at the moment in his motorhome........he is 81!

Thanks, Ann

Unfortuneatly we were touring the West of Scotland in a motorhome - definitely not hot and sunny! We too had hailstones, and thunderstorms and snow (on the hills but quite near). The worst was the wind - some nights it was more like being on the Atlantic than next to it! Roll on December!

Here in Wales our garden turned white with giant hailstones a few hours ago...............is it really June!

Just got back from an extended (6 week) holiday and must say how much I like the changes to the site :-)

Especially like having the times and dates of posts back instead of "1 hour ago, yesterday" etc.

Also like having the separate boards for Ancestors and Living Relatives and no more Surname boards!

Well done GR.
