Hi All
Many thanks for your help,I also checked Scots People but nothing, he is playing hard to get, I think I will have to purchase his marriage cert, only because I remember him as a very nice man, Mum said some odd the other day, just that she thought there was something funny about his death, but it was a long time ago so she may be confused.
Many thanks for your help
Marcie
p.s. My father was his Dental tech for some years he was also my dentist, how I hated the mask being put on

There isnt a registered birth for him 1900--1910 in Scotland......IOM?Ireland? overseas army?

IOM isnt showing a birth...

There are a number of Master Chalmers on Incomming Passenger Lists,,,,meaning aged 1--12......

The 1911 census isnt picking him up so points to maybe a scottish birth,
His marriage cert should name his dad which may help :-D

I suggested marriage cert for extra information which might help in tracking down his birth.

Maybe he was born elsewhere? Depends how interested you are - his marriage cert might be the way to go.

Hi Shirley
His death entry said about 1904, I have looked every where for his birth, now I,m wondering if he was Scottish, I,ll have to ask if someone has access to Scottish births, I have discounted a foreign a birth purely because I don't remember an accent, and have checked with National Archives, grasping at straws now

Hi
Wonder if anyone is able to tell me if there are any sites that could tell me when Bernard D Chalmers qualified as a dental surgeon I suspect it may have been 1920's/30's
many thanks
Marcie
