My name is Sue and I have hit a brick wall. My great grandfather Walter Grummitt was born 10 June 1878 Collingham near Newark, married Eliza Stancer in 1901 in the district of Bourne, Lincs and died 29 October 1947. He is buried at Great Ponton, near Grantham Lincolnshire, the brick wall is:
on his marriage certificate his father is George Grummitt
on his birth certificate his father is William Grummitt and mother Ann Horton.
Cannot seem to find anymore out, can anyone help?
