Mary Ann Waller married John Daniel Stephen Dobson on 26/11/1849 at St. Mary Spital Square Church, Tower Hamlets. Some digging has found that their marriage in 1849 shows Mary father's name to be Daniel Brant.

Was Mary Ann married to a man named Waller and in fact a widow by the time she married John Daniel Stephen Dobson. Her age given on marriage cert is 37 making her birth year 1812/1813, I think that Mary Ann may have slightly coy about her real age! The only Mary Ann Brant I can find with a father Daniel (mother Mary) is born 17/12/1807 in Aldgate, London or for all intents and purposes Whitechapel where the Dobson's are from. Now all I need do is track down a marriage of Mary Ann and someone named Waller.

Can anyone point me to a marriage of a Mary Ann Brant to a man named Waller in the 1820's or 1830's??
