Hi Joy ~ Kentish Maid & wellybobs.

Many thanks Joy for putting me straight, what a great short cut, so thanks a lot for that.

Wellybobs, Ha ha ha, you've beaten me on that score. Shows how daft or slow I am, I've been visiting the local record office now for several years, just looking up the parish records, it wasn't untill recently that I discovered I could access the 1911 census and World Ancestry!! I've been paying for 1911 census records and could only afford the cheapest view, now I can get the full record all for free so yes I agree it's not often you get anything free.

Happy lunches.

Lou :-)

Hi, Looby Loo,
don't feel daft, I thought it was a rude word, something to do with assxxxxx or similar !!
how daft is that, never would have connected it with Ancestry :-)
I don;t have a subscription to that one but will check it out at my local library, where access is free..... not often you get a "free lunch" these days.

cheers. M

Hi RutlandBelle,

Thanks for the tip, but I must be losing the plot as I can't find any info on West Yorkshire BMD.

Can you please tell an idiot like myself where to search.

Thanks a lot,

Lou

Wonder if they will get around to East Yorkshire.

Just started doing a tree for one of my neighbours and already stuck at 1913 birth and no marriage

Fingers crossed
