I just cannot decipher this chaps occupation, hopefully someone cleverer than I am can. Unfortunately his occupation is not listed on the more readable transcribed page.
1871 Census, Parish of St Giles. Thomas Crocker age 60, wife Catharine age 56 and son Thomas age 19 :-S

Well the second word is unemployed so whatever it is that he does he wasn't doing it then!

Yeh, not sure if the first one is Porter

Well he was a porter in 1841 so that would make sense
