If I was you I would either telephone or write to the London probate office and see what they say.
They should be able to tell you how you can get hold of a copy of the record and how much it would cost

Have had a look but can`t make sense of it....The record is not available on The National Archives site....but the fact it is in an index must mean its held somewhere surely?

Have you checked their website, to see what info they give about the availability of records?

Hi,

Have found the following record on fmp and want to obtain a copy..

London Probate Index 1750-1858
Forenames: Argent

Surname: Keemish

Month: Jan

Year: 1814

Type of record: Will

Court: Consistory Court Of London

Place: London

County: London

Notes:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Record source: London Probate Index 1750-1858

Data provider: Dr David Wright

Does anyone know, should i be able to get this Will from the London Probate office in the same way I have applied for Wills from 1858 onwards...eg £5.00 cheque and covering letter or form downloaded from Probate website...??

Thanks in advance for any advice...

Nicky
