How can I import a complete tree?

Note that GEDCOMS are text files, any photos will not be transferred.

If your brother goes to "My Account" (top right) he will the get the option on the left to "Export Gedcom". This will produce a file. If he send this to you, you can use "Import Gedcom" (similar place) to upload it.

You can use a GEDCOM, which is a file of the tree produced by the computer which can be sent via email. Your brother can produce (export) the GEDCOM (which will be sent to his email) and send it to your email and you then upload (import) the file into GR or any other family tree program.

Look under the family tree tab at the top of the page.

My brother is also a member of Genes reunited. Over the years he has built a large family tree. I am a new member. I have his permissiom to view his tree but not to change it. Please can you tell me how I can import his tree as my own. Any help you can give would be greatly appriciated. Thank you...
