Fibis is " Families in British India Society" - for anyone searching for these there is a detailed presentation in the current August edition of "Your Family History" by its chairman.

I have found what I think might be the Biography of my ancestor. And wondered if anyone was going and could look it up or help me to order it please? I have taken a look on their sight and it's so confusing I don't know how to order it. These are the details;

Name: William Baker
Start Date: 6 Dec
Year : 1853
Biographical Notes: William Baker, Convenant, Engineer 1st Class
Transcribed by : FIBIS

India Office Records Reference

Z/O/1/12 No. 582

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help or advise me.

Regards, Lou
