I've seen people get younger between the censuses, so yes its easily possible. |

Ages can be out from census to census. People couldn't read or write so most likely couldn't count either, I have a grtx 4 grandfather who aged 15 years from one census to the next and then only 5 years on the next census, he died in 1885 and his age at death was still out by two years, I found his baptism in 1796 which showed his actual birth date so know what age he was actually. |

By the details in the 1881 census my ancestor would have been born in 1845, but in the 1861 census the only person by that name has "about 1850"as date of birth.Could this still be the same person? |
