finding my great grandfather

Hello everyone,i'm new on here and just finding my way around.
was wondering if anyone could help me find out about when and where my great grand father William Askham died as i cant find out what happened to him.

Evening William, and welcome to the boards.

As your query should really be on Find Ancestors, rather than people look for you, I suggest you try

Choose a period of about 10 years at a time since you last found him, and repeat the procedure until you get some 'possibles' As you presumably know approx when he was born, the age at death should give a clue.

Might he have enlisted in the Forces, or gone overseas? Sometimes (2 grt grandfathers in my own line) people seem to have been missed off the gro index!

Assuming his wife didn't re-marry, if you know where she is buried, he might possibly in the same grave. He might be found on the PR, or on the records of the cemetery.

If so......................

When and where was he born?

When did he last appear on a census?

I think you have William b1884 Liverpool in your tree going by membership numbers

Is this correct ?

But if correct I can not find him in 1911?

i think that is him glitterbaby but the name is spelt wrong.
unfortunatly i think he split from his wife Ada as i know she passed away in brum but i just dont know what happened to William.
