Hi IGP

Ive just done as you have suggested, Lo & behold I now have the drop down menus.I must admit i had not seen anything about this.

So thank you for your instruction, you help is much appreciated,Gosh what would we do without the help we all get on here , not just genealogy matters but computer problems as well.

Thanks again IGP

George,

From what was being discussed yesterday it would seem that the problem with drop downs is a compatibility issue with Internet Explorer. Yes, it has happened since GR upgraded last week and it could be that they need to make some tweaks.

In the meantime, Moxzilla Firefox appears to work ok for me as does my version of IE9.

IE has a Compatibility setting which, if altered, can resolve this sort of problem. You find it under Tools.

Just checked my setting now and for GR is seems that you need to Untick Compatibility View for it to work.

I think you will find that some are having a problem with the drop down menus on this site, me included, the menus are not functioning as they were previously so you dont get the gedcom option.
So you have to do it as Gill has suggested
Just another GR gremlin at work, mines been like it for the past week.

Norma - if you point your cursor at Family Tree without actually clicking, it gives you a Gedcom option.

Hi Norma.
Go to your accounts page I think on the left side it gives you options to import or export your tree.

I want to upload my tree but as soon as I click on Family Tree it takes me straight to mine, it doesn't give me the option of importing or exporting gedcom.
What am I doing wrong?
