Hi Richard

As you have the marriage registered with the GRO, you can order it from here @ £9.25 in P&P.

www.gro.gov.uk

Not having had a military bmd, I've played around with the site, and it seems quite straight forward.

This link gives some helpful information about Spanish vital records (BMD)

You can also use http://www.cyndislist.com/ as a portal for FH sites in a number of countries

Does anyone have any ideas/sites for searching family tree branches which disappear off abroad?
My great grandfather Alfred Grindey married Isabella Gil (a Spanish native) whilst he was stationed in Gibraltar during WW1. They moved back to Staffordshire at the end of the war, but I would dearly love to track back through her side of the family.
I've managed to track their marriage through army marriage records (1911-1915 page 21), but where can I go from here? Where can I access copies of the marriage certificate for an army marriage?
Any assistance/ideas would be greatfully accepted

Kind regards
Richard
