Does anyone know where I can access apprenticeship records for brass moulders around 1916 to 1925 in Manchester. Also for foundry workers from about 1921 to 1960?

Kind regards

Mike

I have or did have my own indentures & records which were given to me upon the completion of my 7 year Engineering Apprenticeship,

As far as i can recall there were two copies, I for me and one passed to the Engineering Employers Federation, not retained by the Company i worked for.

So if any records have survived you probably need to make contact with the appropriate Employers Federation to see if they can help, thats of course if they still exist.

You might find some info on the National Archives site, but maybe earlier than you require
