im trying to find a marriage for a william cooper born 1849 altringham married to an elizabeth davies born 1859 not sure if she could of ben married twice

Checking on Lancsbmd the William Cooper marriage that Choccy posted, he did marry Elizabeth Braddock, at St Barnabas, Openshaw. Lancsbmd usually shows previous names for women marrying twice; in this instance, there is no other surname for Elizabeth, so it doesn't look as if she was previously a Davies.
