Where in India would someone go to study art?

A relative is reputed to have been sent to India to study art around 1920. Any idea where he might have gone? |

Have you tried a google search? I would imagine there are lots of places though! Maybe asking for a passenger list search might be more fruitful. |

The Bengal school of Art, was the one that was of importance during the British Raj in the early 20th Century.... known for its modernism in the 1920s. I am guessing this is where he may have gone... have a look at this wikipedia site. |
