Saw this posting quite by chance!
I was working on this family last night. The Hannah & Isabella from the IGI just above are as you probably know 2 of the ch'n of George b. 1781. He & Ann Reed had 9 ch'n.
I came to a halt with George b.1760 & Hannah b.?1720 so diverted on to Ann's parents, John Reed 1751 - 1838, b. Monkwearmouth, was a shore sailor, married Isabella Nichols, b.1738 in Newcastle, Northumberland. John & Isabella were married at St Peter's MWM 11/06/1773. Both John & Isabella died in 1838 in Sth Shields. I don't know their death dates or any children details.
I suggest that you try www.durhamrecordsonline.com site It has been a help to me for details I couldn't find on the free sites.
I'm working from New Zealand where several of the Watson, Thompson, Adie etc family emigrated to. We may well have a few families in common!

Hi
Anybody out there can help me get past the brickwall.
I know George married Ann Reed 1808 in Monkwearmouth and their children.
Georges father was also George Watson, married to Hannah (Unknown).
Looking for information on George Watson snr parents and any additional children of George and Hannah.
