Rowditch came under the Belper Workhouse. If you go to:-

www.workhuses.org

and put Belper in the search box you can read about the place - Rowditch was added to the Belper Poor Law Union in 1890.

This is what the workhouses site says about what records survive:-

Records
Derbyshire Record Office, New Street, Matlock, Derbyshire. Holdings include: Guardians' minute books (1837-1930); Admissions and discharges (1840-50, 1853-1911); Births (1840-1957); Deaths (1840-1914); Creed registers (1869-93); etc.

The workhouse became The Manor Hospital located opposite the Derby City Hospital and was demolished to construct apartments etc less than twenty years ago.
