Ancestry stated it is hoped to have the transcriptions on site by the end of the year.

No, you can't use it like other census records, at least not as yet. The full name searchable index will only come on stream later this year.

In the meantme you can only view the pages by location. If the area is no too large nor the name too common, provided you can find the family in the Household Summary Book, you can get to the census page relatively easily using the references.

Hello
Please does anyone know how to trace someone on the 1911 census on Ancestry. It looks like you have to know the area they live in. Is there anyway I can use it like the other census records?
