They may, of course, be totally unrelated...............equally, it may be the same person

I am doing the family tree and their are Edmistons in Govan, Glasgow Matthew Edmiston born 1864...but there are also Edmistons in Jarrow..Matthew Edmiston born 1864..Can anyone help me on this, were they cousins or did they move around?
