Are you sure Green was Elizabeth's maiden name? Do you have the marriage cert. to confirm?

There are 14 Smith births in Berkshire where the mother's maiden name is Green in the 20 years after the marriage. None of them are in the Bradfield registration district, so it would be difficult to say which are to your couple. Smith and Green are quite common names.

Your best bet would be to buy Fenton's death certificate and see who the informant was. They might still be at the same address and you would be able to contact them and see if they have the answer for you.
