Plus, of course, first you need to download your tree as a gedcom from Ancestry to your PC.

Also just be aware that GR does not support a full gedcom dataset and certain more obscure fields may not transfer correctly. There can also be a problerm with dates sometimes but as long as you have entered these onto Ancestry in a standard format e.g. 12 Mar 1945 and haven't entered such things as "Between 1905 and 1910" you should be ok.

If you go to the family tree tab on the toolbar above one of the drop downs is Import Gedcom.

Just follow the instructions and the gedcom will import your tree onto GR. Just be aware that if you already have a tree on here, the gedcom will overwrite the old tree.
