I have reported it to Ancestry as suggested, lets hope they respond soon and hopefully rectify it.

Thanks again :-S

I tried looking for the GREGORY family ( half listed at the top of the page) but couldn't get the correct image up that way either.

Thanks for that, I will try reporting it to Ancestry as you say.

Hopefully they may be able to alter it or someone can view it on another site.

I get the same result as you.

The image says it is the first one in the set, but the family at the top of the viewed page is only partly there.
Definitely something wrong as I was unable to view the previous page to see that whole family.

Like yourself I find that the image on Ancestry does not match the transcription.

You can contact Ancestry to report that.

Just wondered if anyone could help with the image of the following. It is Henry Winter in the 1861 census, but when I click on the actual image on Ancestry it is something completely different.

1861 England Census
about Henry Winter Name: Henry Winter
Age: 51
Estimated Birth Year: abt 1810
Relation: Head
Spouse's Name: Margret Winter
Gender: Male
Where born: Kendal, Westmorland, England

Civil parish: Salford
Ecclesiastical parish: Holy Trinity
Town: Salford
County/Island: Lancashire
Country: England

Street Address:

Occupation:

Condition as to marriage: View image

Registration district: Salford
Sub-registration district: Regent Road
ED, institution, or vessel: 5
Neighbors: View others on page
Household schedule number: 5
Piece: 2919
Folio: 96

Does anyone else get the wrong image and if so, has anyone access to another site to get the image, who would be kind enough to email it to me. I could give my email address in a private message if so. Alternatively, maybe I am doing something wrong on Ancestry.

Thanks to anyone for their help.
