Can be searched by address

BUT have you researched it back over the last 100 years to see if the street has been renamed or renumbered

I can search by address on FindMyPast - only up until 1911, of course.

I am trying to find out who lived in the house where I grew up, but can't find a way to search the census by address, is there a way to do it or is it searchable by surname only? Thanks
