Many thanks for the extra information. I have now found out quite a lot about the Priests who lived in the Presbytery between1881 to 1911.

Thank you so much for this, George. I now know Provincial House was number 125!! Also it is so useful to know I can find this information on Find My Past. I find these Message Boards on GR fabulous. Thank you for your time and effort.

In the 1911 Census you can do a place search as well as a person search. Is it possible to do this with earlier Censuses and if so how do you go about it? I am wanting to find out the name of the Priests who lived in a Presbytery (known as Provincial House) on Solly Street in Sheffield from 1861 to 1911. So want to find Solly Street on each census. I have no idea what the house number would have been in the 19th century as many of the houses were demolished in the 20th Century. Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
