I have a death of a 15yr old in 1907 in Scotland that appears to be peritise dilatation Pulmonary Congestion.

Does this make sense to anyone? The Pulmonary bit appears to be fluid on the lungs from my google search but I couldn't find anything when I googled the first bit.

Hope someone can help

I can't think what that word is! It isn't linked to a word like pleural/pleurisy is it?

On reflection I think it should be something like ventricular dilatation but obviously not that, too different from what you have put.

You are welcome GypsyJoe, though you did thank me before I am sure!
Was it cardiac dilatation in the end or does my memory deceive me?
