it should say on the CWGC site in which regiment he served.

she could always try and get his service record which onlu next of kin can get. The records cost about £30 and take a while , check on here:

dont think she would but i have a copy of the inscription thing that i found on the war graves commission sight......ime not sure if its on there...

does she know what regiment he was in? If so you could try contacting the regiment, many have websites

Hi
my friend lost the only and very precious photo of her father.He died just before her second birthday in WWII.....She tells me that it cosists of a large group of army soldiers with a dog....and that the army might have a copy..can anyone tell me if this would be correct....Iwoud luv to help her get a copy <3 <3
